It was interesting returning to Ink songs in the form they were when I was creating them, pre-production and everything. I feel like Aaron Dessner’s voicing of the record made these songs what they are, made them so much more into their own worlds, that these stripped versions, they felt almost new, changed and old at the same time. Like a full circle roundabout that they’d gone on. It was a real joy to record 3 songs from Don't Let the Ink Dry stripped back, recorded with Chester Caine and mixed by Bella Blasko last year.

I can sadly only choose between anything and dragon eyes for my favorite track, but then I realized it probably is anything. The rest of the album and its instrumental sister album are both amazing and imo her best release thus far. 9/10 angrypizza98
